Here’s a fun little video that will lift your spirits! On Tuesday, December 4th, our Bubbleology class experimented with flight. The scientific principles that help bubbles float are the same that allow airplanes to fly: Bernoulli’s principle and aerodynamics (thrust, push, lift, drag). The students experimented with the ailerons, elevators, and rudders to understand how a plane turns direction in the air or goes up and down. Their planes may not have gone far, but it sure was exciting to try!
